In this role, you will oversee service delivery, ensure food safety standards are met, and maintain a positive environment for both staff and guests. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold quality standards, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills within a dynamic hospitality setting. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow during your shift Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold food quality standards Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to ensure compliance with safety regulations Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishments Train new staff members on food safety, service procedures, and operational standards Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience Assist in managing shift schedules, staffing levels, and labor costs to optimize productivity Conduct regular quality checks on food production, cleanliness, and overall restaurant appearance Support management in analyzing profit and loss statements and implementing cost-control measures Requirements Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety management practices Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, including staff training and development Excellent communication skills tailored to managerial roles within hospitality settings Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis confidently Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining establishments is a plus; banquet or catering experience is advantageous Basic math skills for order accuracy, cash reconciliation, and data analysis Knowledge of food industry regulations related to health & safety standards Join us as a Restaurant Shift Supervisor where your leadership fuels our success!
