Leadership position responsible for overseeing evening and overnight operations across the Front Desk and Food & Beverage departments. This position ensures a welcoming guest experience, maintains Hyatt brand standards, supports team members, and ensures the hotel is prepared for a successful next-day operation. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, guest-focused, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions during evening and overnight operations. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Reputation Management Monitor and respond to guest feedback and reviews through Medallia, Expedia, HotelBeds, Booking.com, Priceline, TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, and SOCi. Review guest inquiries, requests, and service recovery opportunities. Monitor guest satisfaction and Medallia scores and communicate trends and opportunities to Front Desk and Food & Beverage teams. Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally while following hotel service recovery guidelines. Ensure guests receive a welcoming, professional, and consistent experience throughout their stay. Assist with escalated guest situations and identify appropriate solutions to protect the guest experience. Front Office Operations Supervise Front Desk operations during assigned 2nd and 3rd shifts. Review Sertifi daily for new and unlinked credit card authorizations and ensure appropriate follow-up. Review the I Left My Stuff reports and follow up on guest requests and outstanding items. Complete daily house balancing procedures accurately and ensure required documentation is completed. Monitor arrivals, departures, VIPs, special requests, and potential guest walk scenarios. Prepare appropriate plans for guest walks and service recovery situations. Ensure shift pass-on information is complete and communicated to the appropriate leadership team. Support Front Desk associates with questions, guest concerns, and operational challenges. Ensure Front Desk procedures and Hyatt brand standards are consistently followed. Food & Beverage Operations Serve as the primary point of contact for PM banquet events taking place between approximately 3:00 PM and 2:00 AM. Coordinate with banquet and Food & Beverage team members to ensure events are properly executed. Monitor evening Food & Beverage operations and assist with operational needs as necessary. Complete weekly inventories for Pepsi, beer, wine, liquor, and Starbucks products by Monday at noon for Gallery Manager review. Complete month-end retail food, alcoholic beverage, and non-alcoholic beverage inventories accurately and on time. Monitor product levels and communicate ordering or supply needs to management. Assist with maintaining organized and efficient Food & Beverage operations. Food Safety, Cleanliness & FIFO Conduct daily inspections of the kitchen, market, bar, banquet areas, and other Food & Beverage workspaces. Verify proper cleanliness and sanitation standards are being maintained. Ensure required food and equipment temperature logs are completed accurately. Monitor FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures throughout all storage areas.
Inspect refrigerators and freezers for:
Proper product rotation Expiration dates Food waste Proper labeling and storage FIFO compliance Maintain cleanliness and organization of BWL closets and storage areas. Ensure bars, beverage stations, equipment, and work areas are clean, organized, and operational. Address food safety or cleanliness concerns immediately and communicate unresolved issues to management. Inventory & Supply Management Complete weekly inventory and supply orders for office supplies, guest supplies, amenities, and operational needs. Assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels across Front Desk and Food & Beverage areas. Monitor product usage, waste, expiration dates, and rotation. Communicate supply shortages or purchasing concerns to department leadership. Support accurate inventory counts and month-end inventory processes. Team Leadership, Training & Development Lead and support Front Desk and Food & Beverage associates during assigned shifts. Train and onboard new Front Desk and Food & Beverage team members. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance support. Reinforce Hyatt brand standards, service expectations, safety procedures, and departmental policies. Support cross-training between Front Desk and Food & Beverage departments. Recognize team members for excellent performance and provide constructive coaching when standards are not met. Serve as a positive leadership presence during evening and overnight operations. Communication & Shift Handover Maintain clear and accurate shift pass-on logs. Communicate unresolved guest concerns, maintenance issues, staffing concerns, inventory needs, and operational issues to the appropriate manager. Ensure important information from the 2nd/3rd shift is communicated to the incoming leadership team. Work collaboratively with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, and management teams. Shared Operational Responsibilities Maintain food safety, temperature log, cleanliness, and FIFO standards. Assist with inventory accuracy and product rotation. Reinforce Hyatt brand standards and training expectations. Monitor overall hotel conditions and report maintenance or operational concerns. Support other departments when needed to ensure a smooth hotel operation. Maintain a professional, positive, and solution-oriented approach when handling guest and employee concerns. Qualifications Previous hotel, hospitality, Front Desk, Food & Beverage, or supervisory experience preferred. Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred. Strong guest service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during evening and overnight hours. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hotel environment. Comfortable handling cash, credit card information, inventories, and daily operational reports. Ability to work evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required. Food safety knowledge or ServSafe certification is a plus. Familiarity with hotel systems, Medallia, online guest review platforms, or Front Office systems is a plus. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items as required for hotel and Food & Beverage operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to operational needs throughout the shift. Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Pay:
$21.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
