Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. The Shift Leader will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality of service and operational efficiency within our establishment, whether in a hotel, casual dining, or coffee setting. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste. Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures. Provide training and support to new employees, fostering a positive work environment. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist in menu planning and food preparation as needed, leveraging experience in the food industry. Collaborate with management to implement policies and procedures that improve operational efficiency.( must be able to train in belleville,mi) manager pay from day 1 Skills Proven experience in hospitality management or related fields such as food service or casual dining. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage inventory effectively and ensure proper stock levels. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members. Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and staff alike. Experience as a cook or familiarity with kitchen operations is a plus. A passion for the food industry, particularly in creating memorable dining experiences.
