Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations within our fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. You will lead by example, providing guidance and support to staff while fostering a positive work atmosphere. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations. Train and mentor staff on best practices in customer service, food handling, and safety protocols. Manage inventory control, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste. Assist in the preparation of food and beverages while adhering to safety and quality standards. Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing, cash handling, and reporting. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and enhance team performance. Qualifications Previous experience in a bar or quick service fast food restaurant is preferred. Strong background in restaurant management with knowledge of inventory control processes. Experience in bartending is a plus, with an understanding of drink preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively. Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
