The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves supervising staff, managing food and beverage operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. This job does include an opportunity to increase income by dualling as a Server/Bartender where gratuity may be received. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage operations, including kitchen and front-of-house activities Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met Oversee beverage service (bar), comply with state and local laws for alcohol serving procedures. Oversee room service and take out from our restaurant. Manage Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and assist with ordering supplies to prevent shortages Train, develop, and mentor staff on food safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational procedures Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards related to food handling and sanitation Oversee shift management, scheduling staff shifts efficiently to meet business demands Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels Assist in budgeting, cost control, and overall food service management to optimize profitability Support catering, banquet events, & special functions as needed Lead team meetings and promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision with a strong background in hospitality or culinary settings Knowledge of Micros POS or similar; experience with cash handling is essential Demonstrated supervisory skills with previous supervising or management experience in quick service, casual dining, fine dining, or hotel environments Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, training & development skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and cost management is preferred Culinary experience or kitchen management background is advantageous Hospitality management certification or relevant training is a plus Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs or more If not already certified - must pass ServSafe Manger Certification and Alcohol Certification.
