Position Summary The Floor Manager oversees the front-of-house dining experience during shifts by leading and coaching the service team, managing floor operations, and ensuring every guest receives seamless, high-quality hospitality. Responsibilities Take full ownership of the dining room experience during your shift Lead, coach, and motivate front-of-house team members in real time Ensure every guest receives attentive, elevated service from arrival to departure Proactively manage floor flow, pacing, and table turns to maintain smooth operations Partner closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure timing and communication stay strong Step in to assist hosts, servers, food runners, or bartenders when needed Handle guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and confidence Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, and brand presentation Monitor labor efficiency and support productivity goals during shifts Ensure all team members follow service standards and hospitality expectations Support training of new hires and ongoing development of current staff Complete shift reports and communicate effectively with upper management Lead pre-shift meetings with clarity, focus, and positive energy Bring integrity, accountability, and calm leadership to every shift Required Skills & Abilities Natural leadership presence with the ability to inspire and guide a team Strong sense of urgency — we move with purpose Deep commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience Ability to remain composed and solution-oriented in high-volume situations Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Positive, team-first mentality Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours) Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds (bus tubs, trays, glass racks) Ability to work in a high-energy, high-noise, fast-paced restaurant environment Experience Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience required Full-service restaurant experience strongly preferred Experience in high-volume environments is a plus
