Job Summary:

Unloads and verifies food and supply deliveries against invoice or Purchase order Organizes and stores food and supplies using an electric walk behind pallet jack or carts Coordinates and assists with outbound deliveries against load sheets. Completes daily food requisitions for all meal and snack programs. Prepares paperwork related to daily requisitions. Ensures proper food handling practices are followed including rotation of products Ability to Perform Frequent lifting, bending, pushing and pulling functions Ability to work in a Freezer/cooler and outdoor environments. Strong Organizational Skills Perform all other duties within the level of responsibility of the position as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

Experience in a public school kitchen and/or background in related food service operations Knowledge of government guidelines and procedures concerning sanitation and safety Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Must have completed or be willing to enroll and complete the Sanitation and Safety and the School Nutrition Programs courses for Minnesota School Food Services Certification Regular, on-time attendance is required Stooping, bending, occasional awkward positions may be necessary to perform essential functions of the position. Must be able to lift 31-50 lbs Obtain Electric walk behind pallet jack certification through district as part of employment Forklift experience preferred but not required MN Certified Food Protection Manager Certificate preferred but not required Commitment to
