Job Summary We are looking for an energetic and organized Restaurant Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure a seamless experience for our guests. In this role, you will lead a team of staff members, manage food service activities, and uphold high standards of customer service. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, has strong leadership skills, and enjoys working in a lively, fast-paced environment. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service flow and guest satisfaction. Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance, training, and support to uphold service standards. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to meet quality and safety standards. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy. Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, assisting with ordering, and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety management and sanitation practices. Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to resolve issues promptly and maintain positive guest relationships. Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is essential; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus. Proven supervisory or team management experience within the food industry. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, inventory control, and profit/loss analysis. Excellent communication skills for managing staff training, interviewing candidates, and coordinating with team members. Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on team training & development, managing hospitality teams, and fostering a positive work environment.
