These responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Customer Service Promote customer service as the number one goal of all Food and Beverage Employees. Employees Hiring, training, reviewing and firing of all Food and Beverage Department employees along with the completion and maintenance of employee paperwork. Scheduling of staff for both inside and outside sales. Establish opening and closing guidelines for all employees to follow. Exercise proper controls in regard to loss prevention. Ensure all staff completes Health Department Food Handlers Card requirements and practices all Health Department food safety controls. Ensure all staff is completes and is in possession of any necessary Alcohol training or Liquor Cards required to sell alcoholic beverages in state of Texas. This card must be on all employees at all times. Cross train to learn and support more aspects of the department such as cooking and kitchen duties Assist in cross training other F&B staff on the day to day menu, bartending, and kitchen duties. Menu Complete recipe list and picture for all menu items. Implementation of daily specials to move excess inventory and appeal to specific daily audiences. Pricing of menu items and evaluation of costs to produce each menu item. Presentation and production of table menu and turn menu. Ability to execute menu in preparing and cooking. Inventory Maintaining proper inventory levels at all times. Ensure all inventory is stored properly at all times. Performing a physical inventory at least once per month. Events Promote and assist the General Manager person in scheduling golf and non-golf events as needed. Administer and organize events as needed. Follow up with event coordinators as needed Reporting Code, enter and file all invoices weekly. Post employee schedules in a conspicuous location and present copy to General Manager. Maintain current list of phone numbers for all Food and Beverage employees and keep copy in Golf Shop. Check in/out beverage car sales and inventories for each shift. Balance and close register on a daily basis. Present closing information in an organized manner. Bank Monitor beverage car sales and report any overage/shortage. Monitor cash drawer for proper starting/closing amount. City Provide City with needed requests in a timely manner. Represent Orion in a professional manner at all times.
