Job Overview Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and leading dynamic teams in a fast-paced restaurant environment? We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Shift Leader to oversee daily operations, ensure excellent service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills while contributing to a lively, customer-focused atmosphere. As a key team member, you will coordinate staff activities, manage food preparation processes, and uphold restaurant policies to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service. Lead and motivate team members by providing clear direction, training, and support to uphold service standards. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to safety protocols. Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling. Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, placing orders, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Enforce food safety standards and sanitation procedures in compliance with health regulations. Assist with staff hiring, training, and development to foster a skilled and engaged team. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience. Support kitchen management by coordinating food production schedules and supervising food handling practices. Contribute to budgeting efforts by tracking sales, labor costs, and other operational metrics. Requirements Proven experience in food service management or supervising in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations Hands-on experience with POS systems such as square; cash handling proficiency is essential. Demonstrated leadership skills with prior management or assistant manager experience; team management expertise is a must. Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Ability to train staff effectively in food production, service protocols, and safety practices. Experience working in hospitality management environments including hotel or catering settings is advantageous.
