About This Position •Must be available for some weekends and holidays• Hours are between 8am - 6pm Must have 3 years experience in food service and 2 years experience with leadership. $1500 bonus 401k, medical, dental, vision The Food Service Supervisor performs a variety of kitchen duties as assigned and/or instructs inmate labor in preparation and serving of correctional facility meals in accordance with departmental work production standards, standardized recipes, and work instructions.

Supervisory duties are in relation to supervising inmate labor. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities Independently prepares, assists, or instructs inmate labor/team members in the preparation of a variety of food items in accordance with departmental work production standards, standardized recipes, and Institution work instructions. Will be required to handle production paperwork and/or sanitation paperwork essential to be in compliance with facility procedures. Responsible for ensuring the cleaning and maintenance of all food service equipment and work areas is completed; confirm proper safety and sanitation practices are being followed. Follows prescribed institution requirements in all preparation, oversight, and serving of correctional facility meals Follows assigned institution housekeeping and safety practices as instructed. Stores food and supplies in accordance with instructions. Performs in high volume food production facilities preparing food for large groups. May perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Need High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age. 1 year or more of experience working in a food service role. Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lb. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
