Shift Lead - Pizza Restaurant Penmac Staffing is hiring a part-time Shift Lead for a busy pizza restaurant in the Eldon area. The Shift Lead will oversee daily operations, maintain food quality standards, and help create a positive experience for both customers and employees. Requirements for the Shift LeadPrevious restaurant, food service, shift lead, or supervisory experience preferredStrong leadership, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and make decisions during assigned shiftsExperience handling cash and operating a POS system preferredKnowledge of food safety, sanitation, and food preparation practicesAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsReliable attendance and ability to work evenings and weekendsShift Lead ResponsibilitiesOpen and close the restaurant independentlyComplete opening and closing checklists and ensure all equipment is properly started or shut downVerify dough, sauce, cheese, toppings, and other prep items are ready for serviceMonitor food temperatures and ensure food-safety standards are followedServe as the person in charge during assigned shiftsDirect and supervise employees, including high school team membersAssign workstations and adjust staffing during busy periodsManage ticket flow through the Kitchen Display System (KDS)Prepare pizzas, sandwiches, strombolis, and other menu items according to company recipes and standardsMonitor food quality, portioning, consistency, and presentationAssist in all positions as needed, including food preparation, oven operation, customer service, and cashier dutiesOperate the Square Point of Sale (POS) systemHandle cash drawers, register reconciliation, refunds, and remakes within established guidelinesMaintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked restaurantEnforce sanitation, food storage, labeling, and closing proceduresMonitor inventory levels and communicate supply needsHelp control labor costs during shifts and adjust staffing as business needs changeSecure cash, equipment, doors, lights, and alarm systems at closingSchedule and PayPart-time24 to 30 hours per weekWednesday through
