Our menu features pasta cut daily in-store, paired with inspired sauces and toppings, creating a vibrant and welcoming dining experience. Job Summary A Shift Lead serves as a working leader responsible for supporting daily operations, maintaining standards, and helping a team execute successful shifts. Shift Leads work alongside the team while providing direction, coaching, and operational support. They help ensure food quality, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and team accountability while assisting managers in maintaining a positive and productive work environment. This role is ideal for experienced restaurant team members who are ready to take on leadership responsibilities and grow professionally. Responsibilities Leadership & Shift Execution Lead and support team members during daily operations Help coordinate shift flow and maintain efficient service Monitor ticket flow and assist with operational decision-making Maintain awareness of guest experience, staffing needs, and restaurant conditions Communicate effectively with managers, shift leads, and team members Assist with opening and closing procedures Team Support & Coaching Provide real-time coaching and guidance to team members Reinforce company standards and culture values Support training and development of new hires Address minor operational issues before they become larger problems Escalate significant concerns to management when necessary Guest Experience Handle guest concerns professionally and confidently Authorize reasonable guest recovery actions when needed Resolve service issues while protecting both the guest experience and the business Document guest recovery actions according to company procedures Operational Excellence Ensure food quality and presentation standards are maintained Verify stations remain stocked, clean, and organized Support food safety and sanitation procedures Assist with inventory awareness and waste reduction efforts Complete required shift documentation and manager log entries Cash Handling Assist with drawer counts and end-of-shift cash procedures Follow all cash handling and accountability standards Ensure deposits and documentation are completed accurately Qualifications Restaurant experience required Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail Ability to coach and support others respectfully Reliable attendance and punctuality Missouri Servesafe Management certification preferred What We're Looking For Leads by example Support teammates rather than manages through authority Takes ownership of problems and help find solutions Maintains a positive attitude during busy shifts Values teamwork, professionalism, and personal growth Wants to develop leadership skills and contribute to a strong restaurant culture Is looking for growth opportunities in their career Benefits Competitive pay Participation in tip pool Leadership development opportunities Growth path toward managerment positions Flexible scheduling Employee meal discounts Positive team-oriented work environment
