Job Description

Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for a Food Service Supervisor to work in a residential treatment facility in Gulfport, MS. The Food Service Supervisor position provides a vital role in providing fresh, nutritious, and appetizing meals to the participants in this program. Previous experience working in a cafeteria setting preferred. This is a 24 hour facility so weekends and holidays may be required. For 50 years, Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has served individuals throughout the Pine Belt. Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen-county service area includes Amite, Covington, Forrest, Franklin, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Jeff Davis, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Marion, Pear River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall and Wayne We offer a competitive benefits package including company paid Life Insurance and LTD. Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Serve Safe certification a plus Two (2) years of work experience in cafeteria-style food preparation preferred Ability to work independently to prepare food required Customer service skills required
Responsibilities:
Accurately prepared meals in accordance with cooking directions. Abides by health department regulations. Meets scheduled meal times for facility. Serves meals to residents of facility. Provide courteous customer service to staff and consumers. Work efficiently and as a team members. Follow company guidelines. Order and maintain supplies. Coordinate meal preparation.
