Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Lead to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring excellent food quality, outstanding customer service, and smooth team coordination. As a Shift Lead, you will inspire your team, uphold food safety standards, and manage operational tasks to deliver memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced environment. Duties Supervise and support team members during your shift to ensure efficient food preparation, service, and cleanliness. Oversee food handling, cooking processes, and food safety protocols to maintain high-quality standards. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy. Control inventory levels through proper stock rotation and ordering to minimize waste and ensure product availability. Train new staff on food preparation techniques, customer service expectations, and restaurant procedures. Monitor shift operations to meet sales goals, control costs, and uphold company policies. Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster positive guest experiences. Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a focus on food preparation and customer service. Supervising or team management experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and kitchen operations. Experience with staff training, development, and interviewing is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Prior experience in casual dining or hospitality management roles is advantageous.
