  • 22/hr + Tip Share | No Late Nights Backyard Tap House is hiring a Line Cook Shift Lead to help run the kitchen during service.
If you're a strong line cook ready to lead a shift, keep things organized, and drive consistency — this is the role. Why Work Here No late nights (we close at 9 PM) Consistent schedule (no guesswork) Fully staffed kitchen — no constant short-handed shifts Team-focused, no-drama environment Tip share + employee discounts + shift drinks Responsibilities Lead the line during service and keep ticket times on track Cook and plate food to consistent standards Maintain a clean, organized station (clean-as-you-go) Support prep, stocking, and shift readiness Communicate with kitchen + front-of-house teams Help maintain quality, speed, and kitchen flow Requirements 2+ years line cook experience Leadership or shift lead experience preferred Ability to work fast, stay organized, and handle volume Strong communication and teamwork Reliable and consistent Apply If You Can run a station and lead a shift Take pride in clean kitchens and consistent food Stay calm and focused during busy service Want a stable, well-run kitchen
