Job Description

Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Knitting Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team during the hours of 3:30pm - 12:00am. In this role, you will oversee the knitting operations, ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Your leadership will drive quality standards, optimize workflow, and foster a collaborative enfironment that promotes continuous improvement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence manufacturing excellence in a fast-paced factory setting.
Job Duties:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the knitting department during the second shift, ensuring production goals are met. Monitor machine performance and address defects quickly, and collaborate with internal Quality team and/or R&D to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Partner with Customer Service, Quality, and R&D teams to prioritize equipment usage, and improve processes. Review assigned production team timecards to ensure attendance standards are being met and all records are accurate for the payroll department. Ensure all on the job injuries and extended absences are reported to Human Resources timely. Oversee all new hire training programs to ensure completion and sign-off of training paperwork. Any additional duties not listed above as directed by Management.
Requirements:
Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of (5) years of related leadership or supervisory responsibilities. Proven experience working in manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on knowledge of knitting machine operation.
