In this energetic role, you will lead and support daily operations in a fast-paced, quick service restaurant environment. Your enthusiasm and leadership will ensure smooth service, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, and create a welcoming atmosphere for customers. Whether managing shifts or working as part of the crew, your positive attitude and dedication will drive success and customer satisfaction every day. Duties Oversee daily food preparation, ensuring all menu items meet quality standards and are served promptly. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling with accuracy. Lead team members during shifts by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing coaching to uphold food safety, sanitation, and customer service standards. Assist with food handling procedures, including cooking, plating, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Drive sales through upselling techniques, suggestive selling, and engaging customers to enhance their experience. Ensure proper cashiering procedures are followed, including cash handling, register reconciliation, and balancing tills at shift end. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to sanitation regulations such as proper food safety practices and kitchen cleanliness. Support customer service efforts by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally while fostering a positive atmosphere. Assist with bussing tables, managing food inventory levels, and supporting other restaurant operations as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast-food restaurants is highly preferred; experience in retail math or grocery store operations is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations are essential. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude. Experience in culinary roles or kitchen environments is advantageous; retail or serving experience also valuable.
