Embassy at Morehead City is seeking an experienced, organized, and compassionate Dietary Director to lead our dietary services department. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and creating an outstanding dining experience for our residents. What You'll Do Direct the daily operations of the Dietary Department. Develop menus that meet nutritional guidelines and resident preferences. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Manage department scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and inventory. Supervise, mentor, and develop dietary team members. Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and clinical teams to meet residents' nutritional needs. Maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation. Qualifications Experience leading a dietary department in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred or willingness to obtain certification if required. Knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety regulations, and healthcare nutrition standards.
