Job Description

Join our vibrant team as a Part-time Front of House Staff member and become the welcoming face of our dynamic restaurant. In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive service, and ensuring smooth operations at the front. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create memorable dining moments for every guest. Must have open availability Monday through Saturday. Weekends required. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival Take and process sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Toast including cash handling and credit card processing. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the front of house area, including bussing tables and assisting with food handling when needed. Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere throughout their visit. Assist with food service coordination, including coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Uphold food safety standards and sanitation protocols in accordance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment. Making coffee syrups as they run low to keep them available at all times. Running food and drinks to tables Warming pastries Assist in answering phone calls and taking to-go orders Skills Proven experience in food service, restaurant hosting, or hospitality roles, preferably in fine dining environments. Barista experience a plus but can train. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and sales transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures in the food industry.
Pay:
$10.00 - $16.00 per hour
