Barista Manager

Duties Lead and supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service. Manage and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a positive work environment. Oversee food preparation, handling, and serving processes to meet food safety standards and quality expectations. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales transactions, cash handling, and reporting. Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to ensure product availability. Train staff on POS systems, food safety protocols, customer service techniques, and coffee preparation skills. Ensure compliance with health regulations, food handling procedures, and safety policies at all times. Experience Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage crafting. Prior management or supervisory experience in a café or retail food environment. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS. Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and prioritization in a fast-paced setting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer needs professionally. Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation practices, and retail math for accurate cash handling. Ability to lead by example, communicate effectively, and foster teamwork within the café environment.
