Discussed during interview Position Summary Trinity Grove is seeking an experienced, dedicated Director of Dining Services to lead daily dining operations. This role supports high-quality resident dining, maintains compliance with state and federal regulations, and upholds Trinity Places' standards and goals. Key Responsibilities Oversee nutrition services, dining operations, approved diets, and menu planning. Ensure proper staffing and maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards. Recruit, train, coach, supervise, and evaluate dining services staff. Maintain employee records and coordinate in-service education for the dining services team. Monitor dining equipment and identify repair or replacement needs. Regularly evaluate dining services and make improvements that support resident satisfaction. Maintain a safe environment and perform other duties needed to support facility operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. D.M.A. certification required or willingness to obtain certification. One year of food service experience in a healthcare facility or retirement community preferred. Previous management experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of local health regulations and state laws related to dining services and food preparation. Ability to safely use a variety of kitchen equipment and utensils. Physical Requirements Lift and carry at least 20 pounds. Move throughout all areas of the facility. Bend, stoop, and reach overhead.
