Job Description

The Shift Supervisor is accountable for motivating employees to produce quality products in a consistent, timely and cost-effective manner that meets and exceeds the quality expectations of our customers. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising the performance and results of employees, leading to a well performing team. Perform applicable food safety duties within the Production department. Post Secondary Education 5+ Years production experience in a food processing industry Supervisory Experience Initiate problem solving in packaging to improve results. Supervising the performance and results of employees leading to a well performing team. Develop, lead, and coach employees through effective training and recognition. Foster and maintain a positive work environment by ensuring that all employees are treated with respect, and employee concerns are managed. Utilize equipment, supplies, and personnel to maximize productivity. Identify productivity improvements. Provide guidance and supervision to employees to ensure that standard operating procedures are understood and followed. Ensure compliance with Government regulations and Company specifications for SQF, HACCP, Sanitation, and Safety. Document and maintain accurate records with respect to employee performance, product quality, daily reconciliation, health and safety, and attendance. Manage rework and tote inventory daily
