As a key player in our hospitality operation, you will oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of catering events, ensuring every detail meets our high standards of quality and professionalism. Your leadership will inspire your team to provide outstanding food and beverage service, creating memorable moments for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and passion for hospitality in a dynamic environment. Base pay 16.00 per hour plus service charge. Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise catering events from setup through cleanup, ensuring timely and efficient service. Lead and motivate a team of servers, bussers, and food runners to deliver flawless guest service. Assist with plating and presentation to uphold quality standards. Manage food handling and safety procedures in compliance with health regulations. Oversee beverage service, including wine knowledge, drink service, and bar setup when applicable. Utilize POS systems for order processing and, billing accurately. Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing needs promptly and professionally throughout the event. Ensure proper bussing, table clearing, and resetting to facilitate smooth transitions between courses or events. Support food safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to sanitation standards. Acts as liaison between the client and banquet manager. Attend the function until the end assuring side work and client needs are fuffiled. Skills Extensive experience in the food industry with a strong background in catering or banquet services. Culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques. Proven guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction. Familiarity with banquet operations, food handling, serving etiquette, and fine dining standards. Ability to perform basic math for order calculations, tips distribution, and inventory tracking. Knowledge of wine varieties, beverage service techniques, and alcohol regulations. Experience operating POS systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent communication skills combined with a positive attitude and team leadership qualities.
