PRACTICE PROVIDER
(APP) LEAD•Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant•Bariatrics Surgery Department In this leadership role, the APP lead will be responsible for the Bariatrics Surgery Department APP team, including, but not limited to, education, communication, quality initiatives, performance and staffing/scheduling. They will collaborate with the medical directors of the Bariatrics Surgery Department. They will manage APP clinical service delivery for the effective, safe, and efficient operation of surgery and be a change agent for the department by supporting projects that drive institute quality metrics, maximize productivity, and contain costs. Clinically, the Lead APP will have demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation regarding the needs and care of bariatrics surgery patients. Experience Required Minimum of 18 months working as Licensed APN. License/Certification Requirements Board certification Nurse Practitioner or Board certification as Physician Assistant; Active New Jersey License;
