Our menu elevates everyday classics with an emphasis on clean ingredients and local sourcing. Our signature dishes include rotisserie chicken, seasonal salad bowls, and our breakfast sandwiches. Role Summary This is an exciting, full-time opportunity for an experienced, hands-on kitchen leader who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative, team-first environment. The Kitchen Lead plays a central role in leading day-to-day kitchen operations, supporting and reporting directly to the General Manager. This is not a traditional "back-of-house only" leadership role. Instead, we have implemented a "One Crew" strategy —a unified team where kitchen and service work together seamlessly as one operation. The Kitchen Lead serves as the point person for all kitchen functions while fostering a culture of shared ownership, accountability, and mutual respect across the entire location. As a growing brand, we are actively building, refining, and stabilizing SOPs that must be scalable across all current and future locations, making consistency and standards adherence absolutely essential. Maintaining and reinforcing these standards is critical to our long-term growth and success. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, communicates effectively, remains composed under pressure, leads by example, values teamwork, is physically capable, and genuinely takes pride in kitchen operations and craftsmanship. Open availability is essential (weekends required), as we operate daily from early morning through evening (kitchen hours: 7am-7pm). Reliable transportation is required, as Bedford Village, NY is not easily accessible via public transit. Key Responsibilities Actively lead daily kitchen operations, including prep, cooking, cleaning, and service. Guide, train, and support team members, encouraging a positive work environment. Report to the General Manager upholding consistency, quality, and presentation standards across all food offerings. Communicate and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations and customer experience. Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety. Inventory management, ordering, and proper product rotation. Assist General Manager with scheduling and staffing needs. Monitor waste and contribute to cost-control and efficiency efforts Qualifications & Requirements 2 years kitchen experience in a leadership role, ideally in a café, or fast-casual environment.
