$16.50-$17.00
Hourly Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalency. Food service experience is required.
Job Summary:
In accordance with the organization's mission, vision and values, the Residential Kitchen Coordinator is responsible for daily kitchen operations.
The following duties will apply:
Duties:
1. Assist with oversight of all activities pertaining to the kitchen and dining room. 2. Ensure proper food preparation and handling. 3. Assist with the preparation and service of well-balanced meals for residential clients. 4. Assist with train for and supervise kitchen and dining room activities perform by clients completing community service. 5. Assist with maintaining compliance with Health Department, OASAS and Food Link. 6. Assist with participation in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings held by the Agency. 7. Accommodate clients regarding special dietary needs. 8. Ensure kitchen workers follow approved menus. 9. Performs other duties and functions as directed. Other Skills/Knowledge and Experience 1. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with culturally diverse persons, staff and community service providers. 2. Ability to multi-task, have good problem solving & time management skills and the ability to remain calm in a crisis. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Comfort within community and crisis services. 5. Computer literacy required, specifically Word and Excel experience.
