Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Shift Lead to oversee daily operations at our hospitality front desk. In this pivotal role, you will lead a team of front desk associates, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient management of reservations, check-ins, and check-outs. Your leadership will set the tone for exceptional customer service, uphold hotel standards, and manage guest relations with professionalism and enthusiasm. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality management skills while fostering a welcoming environment for all guests. Responsibilities Supervise and support front desk staff during your shift, providing guidance on guest interactions, reservation procedures, and hotel policies Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a positive attitude, solving problems promptly to enhance guest satisfaction Manage reservations efficiently through hospitality reservation systems, maintaining accurate records and room availability updates Oversee night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and prepare reports for management Enforce hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest and staff security at all times Communicate effectively via phone and in person with guests, vendors, and team members using proper phone etiquette and professional client communication skills Qualifications Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment Strong knowledge of property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality standards Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high levels of professionalism and enthusiasm Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and resort operations is preferred Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, including phone communication and problem-solving capabilities Join us to lead with energy in a dynamic hospitality environment! Pay:
