Overnights 6pm - 6:30 am, 2-2-3 schedule, the shift does not rotate between days and nights We are seeking a hands-on Production Shift Supervisor to lead a maintenance team in a fast-paced, high-volume food manufacturing environment. This is a highly visible floor-based leadership role, with approximately 75% of the workday spent in the production environment. The Maintenance Shift Supervisor will lead technicians, respond to equipment issues, prioritize maintenance needs, and partner closely with Production and Engineering to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Schedule This position works a consistent shift on a 2-2-3 schedule-the shift does not rotate between days and nights. The 2-2-3 schedule provides: Every other weekend off A three-day weekend every other week Predictable days on and off What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians Serve as the primary maintenance contact during your assigned shift Respond to equipment breakdowns and prioritize repair needs Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities Partner with Production and Engineering on equipment issues, upgrades, and improvement projects Identify recurring equipment problems and support root-cause solutions Maintain preventive maintenance activities through the CMMS Support plant safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout Manage scheduling, performance, coaching, and development of team members What We're Looking For Maintenance leadership or production supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Hands-on mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting experience Experience working in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, CPG, or other continuous manufacturing environments preferred Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively with Production, Engineering, and other plant teams Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus Candidates with strong Production Supervisor experience and hands-on maintenance knowledge are encouraged to apply, even without a Maintenance Manager title. Work Environment This is an active food manufacturing facility. Candidates should be comfortable spending most of their shift on the production floor in a warm, humid, and occasionally wet or noisy environment. The position requires prolonged standing, climbing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
