Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements. 2nd Shift Case & Label & Warehouse Supervisor Seneca Foods in Geneva, NY is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Case & Label & Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. Responsible for all the day-to-day labeling functions from Brite to a finished items. Also oversee Warehouse Operations.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee day-to-day operations in labeling
- Responsible for label line efficiencies
- Order and inventory direct materials scheduling label lines to meet deadlines
- Responsible for overseeing the Maintenance of the labeling area
- Responsible for managing labeling personnel scheduling
- Responsible for reconciliation between
GEM & INCS
inventory- Ensure compliance with Safety Regulations and Quality procedures
- Work with the Quality department to communicate any product issues
- EOM Reports (downtime records, line changes, etc.), Monthly Production Report
- Physical inventory preparations
- Chep Pallets, Label coordinator backup
- Participate in the Safety committee, Quality committee, Can damage committee
- Other duties as required or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of labeling or ability to learn requirements
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Knowledge of or ability to learn Gem-INCS, OSTAT
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead a team
- Must be flexible with good organizational skills
- Capable of making accurate and calculated decisions
- High School education or equivalent. Some post-high school education preferred
- 5+ years of experience as a Leadperson or Supervisor in a related field preferred Wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $70,000 - $80,000/year
