Job Description

TITLE:
Dining Experience Supervisor
REPORTS TO
General Manager
GENERAL DUTIES
The Dining Experience Supervisor reports to the General Manager and is responsible for the efficient and quality operation of the dining experience. Primary responsibilities include assisting with staffing of the dining rooms, management of quality service and hospitality, ensuring proper sanitation, security and safety, and maintaining an excellent relation with the residents and client.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as liaison as it relates to Dining Services Ensure on-going positive patient/resident relations by presenting a hospitable impression of the Dining Services Department Execute excellent dining room and neighborhood dining management on a continual basis by being meticulous about set-up, clean-up and overall appearance of facility and employees Responsible for hiring, onboarding, and training employees for the Dining Services Department Maintain Company's employee training standards by utilizing manuals, orientation checklists and evaluate each new employee's performance Responsible for scheduling work hours as budgeted labor cost and in response to individual employee vacation/sick leave requests when possible Accountable for assessing, counseling and reviewing job performance of employees and completing proper documentation in a timely manner Effectively communicate with the Nursing Department and Housekeeping Department to ensure immaculate sanitation and presentation of all dining areas Attend and represent Nutrition Management Services Company at all Resident Council and Food Committee meetings
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must have ServSafe Certification Two (2) years as a dining service supervisor preferred Management experience in hospitality highly preferred Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds Must be able to withstand exposure to extreme changes in temperature due to heat, walk-in refrigerators and freezers, etc. A positive and proactive demeanor with advanced customer service skills
