FOOD SERVICE DIRECTOR

Join our growing skilled nursing team as a Food Service Director ! We are seeking an experienced, organized leader to oversee daily dietary operations while ensuring residents receive high-quality meals and exceptional service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee daily food service and dietary department operations Supervise, schedule, train, and support dietary staff Ensure meals meet resident needs, preferences, therapeutic diets, and prescribed consistencies Maintain compliance with CMS, state, sanitation, and food safety requirements Manage food ordering, inventory, supplies, and department costs Monitor kitchen cleanliness, food storage, temperatures, and sanitation practices Collaborate with Nursing, Administration, and the interdisciplinary team Assist with survey readiness and corrective action as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 1 year of food service leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting required Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred ServSafe certification preferred Knowledge of therapeutic diets, sanitation, and healthcare food service regulations Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage staffing, schedules, inventory, and department priorities
