Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in both casual and fine dining settings. Duties Oversee daily operations of food and beverage service, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with our guests and fellow Associates. Addresses guest's complaints concerning service, food and beverages throughout all areas within the Gaming floor and the beverage service areas. Possess knowledge of all positions within the beverage service area to assist Associates as needed. Stay visible at all times to inspect establishment and observe Associates and patrons to ensure compliance with occupations, health and safety standards, and local liquor regulations. Coordinates with Associates on a daily basis to conduct pre-shift meetings, inspection of wardrobe, weekly scheduling, PTO coverage, etc. Ensures that all Associates sign in and out properly, and have adequate coverage to take scheduled breaks. Assist Management with all promotional programs. Oversees all facets of the gaming floor that directly relates to the F & B Department if no Assistant Floor Manager is on duty. Oversees all facets of the Restaurant if no Manager is on duty. Ensures that staffing levels are adequate for shift. Learn or have knowledge of the Micros system. Must become TIPS certified and have a solid comprehension of the training. Makes sure all operations of any special events run smoothly in the beverage service, floor or other areas. Other duties as assigned. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, hospitality, and exceptional guest experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or minimum High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and three to six months related experience and/or training. Required to attend all mandated mandatory trainings and receive certification if needed as per
AMC. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of time. The associate frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation. The position exists in a casino work environment where there is frequent and regular exposure of the associate to noise and cigarette smoke from the casino floor.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must obtain and maintain a St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Gaming Work Permit.
