Summary We are seeking a qualified and capable Shelter Shift Supervisor at our location in Jamaica, NY . Essential Duties Oversee and assign job tasks to Residential Aide staff. Assist residential aides with daily activities, as well as intervening in crisis management. Assist case managers in helping clients identify appropriate programs such as healthcare, mental health, and housing services within NYS. Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and required training, in accordance with program guidelines. Establish and maintain client files in accordance with internal, local, state, and federal requirements and enter data in computerized systems. Assist with quality assurance quarterly reports (i.e., fire drills, in-service training, safety inspections, satisfaction surveys, building and vehicle reports, etc.). Other duties as assigned within job scope.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

High School diploma

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum two years' experience working in social service. Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
