The Team Member at The Nourish Spot plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience rooted in wellness, hospitality, and community. Reporting directly to the Shift Manager, this role supports daily front

• and back-of-house operations including food preparation, customer service, cleanliness, and order fulfillment.

Team Members are responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and service while contributing to a welcoming and positive environment for guests and fellow team members. This role requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a passion for healthy food and community engagement. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Guest Experience Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service. Take customer orders accurately using the POS system. Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and wellness benefits. Ensure each guest has a positive and memorable experience. Escalate customer concerns or issues to the Shift Manager when needed. Food & Beverage Preparation Prepare smoothies, juices, bowls, and other menu items according to company recipes and standards. Maintain consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift as needed. Store Operations & Team Support Assist the Shift Manager in maintaining smooth and efficient service flow during busy periods. Support both front-of-house and back-of-house tasks as assigned. Help with opening, mid-shift, and closing duties including prep, restocking, and cleaning. Communicate supply needs, equipment concerns, or operational issues to the Shift Manager. Cleanliness, Safety & Compliance Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment. Follow all health department, food safety, and sanitation regulations. Complete cleaning tasks and daily checklists as directed by the Shift Manager. Properly store food, label ingredients, and follow temperature control procedures. Brand Representation & Community Engagement Represent The Nourish Spot's mission of health, wellness, and community in all interactions. Encourage customer engagement with promotions, loyalty programs, and events. Help create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers and team members. Qualifications Previous food service, hospitality, or retail experience preferred but not required. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work different shifts 7:45a

• 1:15p or 1p
• 7:15 pm nights and alternating weekends 8:45a
• 5:15 pm in a fast-paced team environment.

Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (Food Handler License preferred or willingness to obtain). Reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction from supervisors. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Passion for healthy food, wellness, and community-centered work.
