Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Finished Product Shift Supervisor to lead our second shift operations within the warehouse. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the packaging, labeling, and final assembly of finished goods, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are prepared for timely shipment. Your leadership will drive process improvements, maintain inventory accuracy, and foster a safe and productive work environment. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to utilize your warehouse management expertise and team management skills to make a significant impact on our distribution efficiency. Responsibilities Enforce and ensure safety is above any other priority throughout the plant. Following and enforcing all safety rules/regulations. Support and report any concerns related to food safety and product quality to FSQA. Understand our commitment to food safety and ensure we are complying with regulatory standards. Review and approve quality documents as needed. Coordinate the team schedule to improve efficiency and ensure production needs are met. Continually evaluate work performance, point out deficiencies promptly and commend improved or outstanding performance. Maintain a professional working environment for all employees while helping guide and lead the team in the direction that is efficient and productive. Acquire and maintain a good working knowledge of the employee policy manual and ensure fair and impartial interpretation and administration of the manual in conjunction with the plant management team according to company policy. Attend meetings, be engaged throughout meetings. Provide feedback, idea, solutions and issues throughout the plant. Review and file daily production reports. Complete, communicate and distribute as required. Maintain all aspects of FMD, ensure proper function and checks throughout shift. Oversee finished product warehouse personnel. Communicate and work with warehouse coordinator for guidance. Report and communicate any issues around warehouse and personnel. Adjust production scheduling as needed to work around ingredient/bags or other delays. Ensure personnel are scheduled accordingly to cover staffing gaps. Understand QC procedures and requirements. Understand and utilize TraceGains throughout packaging and internal audits. Must be able to learn to operate a forklift safely. Must be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs. Follow established plant safety rules and general rules of conduct. Work overtime as required. Maintain and enforce plant sanitation and operational housekeeping. Assume responsibility for the protection, care and maintenance of the company facilities and equipment. Must learn to be knowledgeable in all operations throughout the plant. Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Pay:
$27.00 - $30.00 per hour
