Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional food experiences. In this vital role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, and manage a team of culinary professionals. Your leadership will drive the preparation of high-quality dishes, maintain inventory control, and uphold the standards of fine dining and catering services. Responsibilities Supervise daily kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service and quality standards are met. Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team focused on excellence. Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimize efficiency. Ensure compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures, proper handling of ingredients, and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas. Coordinate menu planning in collaboration with culinary staff to deliver innovative dishes that meet guest expectations and dietary requirements. Manage shift schedules, monitor performance, and address operational issues promptly to maintain smooth kitchen operations. Maintain accurate records related to food production, inventory control, and health inspections to support continuous improvement. Experience Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably within fine dining or catering settings. Extensive background in food production, culinary techniques, and restaurant management practices. Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, cost control, and food safety protocols. Experience with banquet service, catering operations, and large-scale event coordination is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of hospitality and service quality. Familiarity with dietary department procedures and food handling regulations within the food industry. Prior experience in managing kitchen operations within a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential for success in this role.
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.50 per hour
