InclusionWorks is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with cognitive and developmental disabilities through meaningful programming, skill-building, and community engagement. Sweetie Pies is our hands-on vocational program where participants develop baking, customer service, and workplace readiness skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Team Lead to oversee daily operations of the Sweetie Pies program. This role combines leadership, coaching, and operational coordination to ensure a positive, productive experience for participants while maintaining high standards in product quality and customer service. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required. Monday and Friday optional.KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
Lead and support participants in baking, packaging, and customer service activities Provide hands-on coaching to develop vocational and interpersonal skills Oversee daily workflow, production schedules, and order fulfillment Ensure compliance with food safety standards and organizational policies Collaborate with staff, families, and Natural Support Providers to support participant success Maintain inventory, supplies, and a clean, organized workspace Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented environmentQUALIFICATIONS
Experience in leadership, education, vocational training, or a related field Possess a foundational knowledge and hands on experience with baking techniques and kitchen equipment. Passion for working with individuals of all abilities Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Experience in food service, baking, or retail is a plus High school diploma required; additional certifications or education preferred Valid driver's license Must pass background check, drug screening, and complete First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Some evenings and weekends required for special events and fundraisers.Job Types:
