Avon Fields Golf Course located in Cincinnati, Ohio is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Food & Beverage Supervisor ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation:
$13.00 per hour, tips and gratuities from events.
Schedule:

Position Overview Ideal candidates are highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, they have strong business aptitude and can strategize the entire food and beverage vision and process, down to following through on all hiring, training, supervising, planning, budgeting, and execution.
Responsibilities:
Daily management of the food and beverage department Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served Direct and assist with set-up, preparation and execution of banquets, parties, and special events Work closely with the Troon' Marketing Team Members to develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues Assist the General Manager in hiring, supervising, scheduling, and developing bartenders, cooks, and beverage cart attendants Provide daily oversight of F&B accounting procedures Maintain cost controls and conduct monthly inventory Follow the PO buying process for food and beverage ordering Train front line staff on quality assurance and appropriate guest service Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure full compliance with the Department of Health regulations Comply with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other local/state laws Follow correct closing procedures and appropriate cash handling practices Prepares food and tends bar as needed Ensures that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the kitchen and bar at all times Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Education and Experience Requirements:
Must have 1-2 years of supervisory experience Must have strong sales orientation Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Knowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor laws Must have food and beverage/ a la carte and banquet experience Must have strong business aptitude Must have strong service orientation Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented Must have exceptional interpersonal skills Must be 21+ with valid driver's license and reliable transportation Working Conditions Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scooping The employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and hands The employee occasionally will be required to lift up to 50lbs. Use of sight, reading, wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areas Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception Noise level is typically moderate Work extended hours during golf and holiday season Work weekends and holidays
