Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of food items, including ice cream treats, burgers, fries, and beverages with precision and care. Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations following food safety guidelines. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Assist with food handling duties such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring quick service during busy hours. Follow all food industry safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both guests and team members. Skills Experience in food preparation within quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems enhances efficiency in processing sales. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently. Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store math calculations, and retail transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures. Previous restaurant or café experience is a plus; familiarity with serving in a retail or grocery store environment is beneficial.
