Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to oversee our dietary department and ensure the provision of high-quality meals for our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, leadership skills, and a passion for promoting health through proper nutrition. Duties
- Manage and supervise the dietary department staff
- Oversee menu planning and food preparation to meet the preferences and nutritional needs of residents
- Monitor budgeting and expenses related to dietary services
- Collaborate with healthcare residents to fine tune offered menus
- Ensure compliance with regulations and standards in an assisted living environment Skills
- Proficiency meal preparation on a larger scale
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate staff
- In-depth knowledge of alimentary requirements and meal planning
- Experience in managing a dietary department effectively
- Familiarity with budgeting practices for food service operations
