Are you a food service leader who is passionate about creating an exceptional dining experience for seniors? CareCore at Lima is seeking an experienced Dietary Director to lead our Dietary Services team. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a safe and welcoming environment. What You'll Do Lead and supervise the Dietary Services department, including cooks, dietary aides, and support staff. Develop staff schedules, oversee daily operations, and provide coaching and training. Ensure meals are prepared and served according to physician orders, resident preferences, and therapeutic diets. Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, including infection control and food safety standards. Manage food, supply, and equipment inventories while maintaining department budgets. Conduct quality assurance rounds and address resident concerns to enhance satisfaction. Prepare for and participate in state surveys and inspections. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on outstanding resident care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dietary Director or Food Service Manager in a healthcare, long-term care, rehabilitation, or senior living setting preferred. Knowledge of therapeutic diets, food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with scheduling, inventory management, budgeting, and staff development. ServSafe Certification preferred (or ability to obtain). Why Join CareCore at Lima?
