Job Description

As a Kewpee Hamburgers Shift Supervisor, you'll be a role model of the store operations and company standards. You will support your General Manager (GM) in managing overall operations, improving the customer experience, and increasing the bottom line, while also owning the people responsibilities for your location. You'll lead each shift, working alongside team members to deliver quality customer service and food items. The physical work environment includes working in a fast-paced kitchen environment (which requires extended periods of physical exertion, such as walking, standing, lifting and bending) and interacting with customers. It also includes both inside and outside work in varied temperatures, working with and around food products, common allergens, industrial equipment, commercial cleaning products that require the use of personal protective equipment and physical activities necessary to complete the responsibilities of the job.

Acts as manager on duty and opens and closes the restaurant Manages cash handling and ensures accountability Uses required tools, forms and logs to support shift execution, document results and take corrective action when needed Execute company strategies for sales growth and flow-through Manage associate labor to support and drive profitability Assist your GM in maintaining restaurant costs & inventory Ensure high-quality operations & service Grow sales & maximize profitability This opportunity is for you if: You will maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality You're available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays and travel as needed for work-related functions and training You're available to work a minimum of five (5) days per week You enjoy people & have great communication skills and strong interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team, build relationships and direct the work of others You like the fast-paced environment of the hospitality industry You're committed to, and experienced with, health and food safety You're interested in working toward a General Manager position and/or you want to learn, grow, and expand your career You have a proven ability to direct, motivate, coach, and develop others You're at least 18 years of age You're able to complete 8 weeks of company training You're able to pass a background check You have 1-2 years of restaurant or retail supervisory experience preferred You have reliable transportation
