Overview Join our dynamic team as a Front of House Team Member/Team captain and become the welcoming face of our vibrant food service environment! In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional customer experiences by providing friendly service, efficient food handling, and seamless operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, POS systems, and customer service within a fast-paced, fun-filled setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, ensuring a positive dining experience. Handle food preparation tasks in accordance with food safety standards, including assembling orders and maintaining cleanliness. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and providing correct change. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction. Maintain sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to health regulations. Support food industry operations by assisting with food handling, serving, and basic kitchen tasks as needed. Skills Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for smooth transaction processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals. Previous restaurant experience or café background is highly desirable; experience in retail or grocery stores is a plus.
