Position Summary:
Food Services Supervisor coordinates all kitchen activities to ensure the highest quality and smooth operation of the nutrition services department.
Position Responsibilities Nutrition Supervisor:
Orders all food to ensure proper menu. Ensures proper preparation, portioning and serving of meals Counsels residents and families in the area of food preferences Evaluates and disciplines nutrition services personnel according to HCF policy Prepares food according to recipe and ensures palatability Maintains standards of sanitation and safety according to local, state and federal regulations Operates all food service equipment safely Attend required in-service education
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Prior cooking experience for large populations beneficial. Must be able to read, write, make simple calculations, and follow oral and written instructions. Some on-the-job training in food preparation, in cookery and general kitchen management. ServSafe beneficial. Benefits for a
