The Dining Room Supervisor at The Courtyard at Centerville plays a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all residents and guests within a public administration setting. This position is responsible for overseeing daily dining room operations, maintaining high standards of service, and fostering a welcoming and comfortable environment. The supervisor will coordinate with kitchen staff, manage dining room personnel, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. By effectively leading the dining team, the supervisor contributes to the overall well-being and satisfaction of residents, supporting the facility's mission to provide quality care and service. This role requires a balance of leadership, customer service, and operational management to achieve seamless dining experiences every day.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a supervisory role within a dining or food service environment. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in food safety or hospitality management. Experience working in a healthcare or public administration dining setting. Proficiency in scheduling and staff management software. Training in customer service excellence. First aid and CPR certification.
