1st Shift As our next 1st Shift Group Leader , you'll be at the forefront of supporting production operations, training team members, and ensuring quality, safety, and productivity goals are achieved. Your expertise in manufacturing operations and team leadership will be critical to maintaining efficient production flow and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing:
Train employees and support operations across multiple production areas Lead by example and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production standards Complete production reporting documentation including labor tracking, quality reports, and corrective actions Review and utilize Bills of Materials (BOMs) to identify required components and materials Participate in Gemba Kaizen and continuous improvement activities Perform equipment set-ups and support production operations as needed Set up and run new and existing product configurations with minimal supervision Ensure products meet quality requirements before advancing to the next operation Support production teams by troubleshooting issues and maintaining workflow efficiency Maintain knowledge of machines, processes, and quality criteria within the department
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent experience Previous manufacturing experience, preferably in a leadership or lead-hand capacity Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions Good mathematical skills and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Mechanical aptitude and excellent manual dexterity Ability to train and support team members effectively
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience with production reporting systems and quality documentation Prior experience leading small teams in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Kaizen Experience working with Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product configurations How to
