Job Description
GROWTH OPPORTUNITY!
This is a shift lead trainee position. The goal is to grow into a Shift Leader within 60 days. We promote from within. Hourly wage + Tips average $15.00 -$22.00/hour to start. 50% Discounts at Dolce and Valley Cafe. Family owned and operated. FREE gelato! Be a Taste Tester for weekly bakery and gelato items! No Mondays! No mornings! 28-35 hours per week, 4-5 days per week. All team memebers learn and perform all stations including: gelato scooper, counter service, table/patio service, barista, and bartender (21+ ) as well as their own side work. Positions are available from 12:30pm to 10:00 pm, (10:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.) Closed Mondays. Our private party and gelato cart business also offers our staff additional work opportunities.Responsibilities:
- In the first 60 days of training learn and perfect all of the front of the house positions and side work lists.
- Once a Shift Lead role is achieved responsibilities would include leading all operations of the shift including leading the team and opening and closing the restaurant properly
- Create a guest experience that makes people want to return to Dolce with their friends
- Bring unity and positivity to the team
- Follow proper dating, product rotation, and sanitation procedures
Requirements:
- All candidates must be at least 21 because this position has a bartending component
- must be available most Saturdays and Sundays, and the first Friday of every month.
- must have a desire to move into a leadership position
- must learn and implement Dolce's Core Values daily
- must be positive, energetic and kind
- serving or customer service experience a plus
- supervisory experience a plus
