About the
Position:
The Food Service Specialist II is responsible for preparing and serving meals for our inpatient and residential facilities. This position will be a floater at our Lighthouse Services and Fort Supply. At this level, employees will use items for cooking and baking; cutting and preparing meat, poultry, or fish; frying or roasting foods. Position is also responsible for the direction of others performing simple and routine duties involving the handling and serving food and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.

Requirements at this level consist of one year of experience in commercial or institutional food service or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of vocational of technical school training in food preparation for the required experience. Special Requirements:
Applicant must be able to pass an OSBI background. Must possess a US driver's license to perform job related travel if necessary. Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result. (if Required) Applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and be able to pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
