SHIFT LEAD
The Shift Lead oversees daily operations while creating an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role leads by example, supports team members, and ensures efficient operations, quality standards, and compliance with company policies. The Shift Lead serves as the leader on duty when management is unavailable and provides hands-on operational support as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead daily shift operations while delivering exceptional guest service. Support and motivate team members to maintain quality, efficiency, and teamwork. Monitor service flow and resolve operational or guest concerns promptly. Assist with front- and back-of-house operations as needed. Ensure food and beverage quality, presentation, and sanitation standards are met. Promote compliance with company policies, safety standards, and responsible cash handling procedures. Complete opening, closing, and shift reporting responsibilities. Support inventory control, product quality, and operational readiness. Coach and train team members while fostering a positive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 21+ years of age. Must be able to obtain a Gaming license (if applicable). Must be able to obtain an ABLE liquor license. Must be able to pass a background check. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Strong guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to read, write, and understand written and verbal instructions. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a restaurant, bar, casino, or hospitality environment preferred. Strong guest service, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT
Stands and walks for extended periods throughout the shift in a large casino environment. Walks long distances while carrying beverage trays and service items. Uses hands and arms to serve beverages, handle transactions, and transport products. Reaches, bends, twists, stoops, and maneuvers through guest service areas. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds. Works in a fast-paced environment with moderate to high noise levels. May be exposed to secondhand smoke in designated areas of the property.
